The Level.2 comes out of the box as a Class II ebike, with pedal assist and throttle going up to 20 MPH . It can be unlocked to a Class III ebike and can go up to 28 MPH on pedal assist. The Level.2 will also operate with the throttle unplugged and removed, should you want to ride in an area where throttles are prohibited. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain or submerged or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike. *Using PAS 1 throughout flat terrain with a rider weight of 160 lb.

I’ve had my Level 2 for about 2 months now, and I could not be happier.
My only note is that I wish the paint were a little more durable, as it seems easily scratched or scuffed by even locks with rubber coating. Be careful!
However, the torque sensor, aesthetic, handling, speed, all equate to a bike that punches high above its price point.

Though it took a while to ship, this ebike was well worth the wait. I can’t believe how easy it makes biking long distances, up hills, etc. This was my first ebike and I chose it in large part because I’d heard its torque sensor is the future of ebikes, and while I can’t compare it to a cadence sensor, I must say that it’s an incredibly smooth experience. I can’t praise this bike enough!

I was hesitant to make this purchase. After 150 miles, I love the bike. I thought that I would not get as much exercise with the assist but if I push the speed and keep the assist at the least, I can get as much exercise without the pain of riding into the wind. I can go forever on this bike. My longest is 54 miles for 1 ride and there was still had battery left.

This is a really great bike! It came 80% assembled. I love that the lights are integrated into the frame. Easy to read display. Fun to ride, love the hydraulic brakes.
If I were to keep the bike in the garage, I would remove the battery. NV summers get pretty hot, which kills batteries.
Removing the battery is a little tricky, which is why I plan on leaving it on the bike and keeping the bike inside.
Took my first ride last night, so much fun!
The only thing I added to the bike was the bell☺️

My first ride was 13 miles using just the gears and assist levels 1 and 2. Once I used assist level 3 on a fairly steep hill. The bike handled beautifully and made my ride very enjoyable and pain free on my arthritic knees. The gears are smooth and even assist level 1 has a lot of get up and go. The throttle was very helpful to get going from a stopped position to cross a busy street.
The only issue I had was that the handle bar stem was a little low which made for a sore neck, so I purchased a stem extender from our local bike shop and that fixed the problem. Overall, this bike is awesome and just what I needed to get outside and get my 60 something body moving again!

got my bike last week since then, I have rode it every day. I just turned 65 and retired. It was looking for exercise the pedal assist works perfectly. It gives me the help I need while I still get exercise. Anyone who believes they can’t get exercise on an electric bike is mistaken my first day I did 6 1/2 miles and my legs were like noodles. only a used pedal assist one and occasionally pedal assist two. I’ll be going to get tomorrow before it gets hot.

I am very impressed with the value proposition here. Including fenders, rear rack and lights improve on an already compelling price. The bike itself is great and easy to assemble. The 8 gears let me keep on pedaling regardless of the assist level and I am taking on rides I could not on a non electric bike. Knowing I can get a workout and get home even if I overdo it a bit is great. The build quality is great and the components well paired. Count me as an Aventon fan for the well thought out and value driven choices they made in outfitting the Level 2.

Just bought this ebike and loved it so much, I bought one for my husband! We live in a downtown area so we wanted something I could commute to work on, and something we could run errands on with the kids. The torque sensor is amazing! We live at the top of a very steep hill, and the pedal assist makes navigating the climb a dream. We also attached a buggy for our toddler, and the bike pulls her uphill with little effort. Long lasting battery, solid frame and welding, an absolutely beautiful bike. I especailly love that it comes with the fenders and back rack. My only wish is that a mirror came standard and that there were turn indicators. Looking forward to lot’s of adventures!
