I just finished unboxing the Sinch Step-Through and wow!! It is a beautifully constructed bike and the process of unboxing and initial setup was a breeze. I purchased one for myself and a matching one for my wife. It’s really straight forward and completely intuitive how everything goes together. Haven’t ridden it yet because it’s been raining cats and dogs here. I just need to put the fenders on then we give it our first test ride. I’ll review that process later this week. We’re packing them in our 5th wheel today and heading for a week at a campsite in Pigeon Forge, TN. I will take some photos and include with the next review.

We absolutely love our bikes. We use them to go all over town. The foldable part was the selling point for us as we have a bronco sport and can fold both bikes and carry them both inside without a bike rack.

These bikes are built like tanks. It doesn’t come across that way on the pictures or videos I watched. They are good sized & stout. I bought it as a shuttle vehicle when floating the river but it’s too much fun for just that. Looking at getting a second for the wife now that she rode it.

I’ve put 250 miles on the Sinch since I’ve bought it 3 weeks ago. It is so fun to ride but it does getting some use to. Pedal assist is a little intermittent when slowing down then speeding back up( about 3 full pedal rotations) I use it for commuting and does a great job. It is a conversation starter no doubt. The Aventon Sinch step through is portable and stylish. I can fit my bike in the hatchback of my vehicle and bring it anywhere I go. This ebike is also very high quality. It can hold a charge all day long depending on how often you use the pedal assist and it can even handle the off road trails.

This bike is exactly what I’ve been needing to enjoy riding again, with the pedal assist it helps with my knees not to hurt during rides and equals to longer rides. On top of that with the step through design it makes it so easy to get on and off. Once my new Sinch E-Bike made it home to me from it’s trip around the country and delay’s in shipping it proved to be easy to setup and take for a ride. Very happy with the bike so far. I was a little worried the 500w motor wouldn’t keep up with my friend’s 750w, but it isn’t a problem at all and find myself outpacing them. Bike folds up nicely and isn’t too bad to lift when you remove the battery and seat. I bought a doggie hammock for the backseat of my car and just put the bike in there and belt it up.

This is my first ebike. I’m really pleased I purchased it. I like that the throttle and pedal assist changer are easy to reach when needed. I did not notice a difference using pedal assist five, but for my purposes mostly I wouldn’t need it. I’m mostly riding on flat bike trails and I can get up to a nice speed. Buy the sinch step through ebike. It will not disappoint.

It was Aug 23rd when delivered and we opened the box like the picture.. It’s going to 2 months and so far so good.
It folds in the garage for convenient storage.. Cloud gray looks gorgeous than white from older version and it performs strong and trustful.. Only wish I have now is the battery could last long enough to enjoy riding for a long while.. First e bike buyer, so a bit concern about almost 2k price and how shipment will be made from its size and weight, but now I think it’s worth going for it to enjoy e biking and was delivered to my front door with no issues.

I am a 2-3 time a week avid mountain bike rider, but got the Sinch for my wife to go on street rides and to use when we go camping. I find myself taking it out often at the camp site because I really enjoy zipping around on it. I tried a long steep incline this past week and the Sinch handled it effortlessly. Definitely gets us all out riding more often and with much enjoyment. It handles well although with a few minor quirks. Glad we got the Sinch and got a lot for our money.

The fit and finish on both Sinch ST’s I purchased was exceptional. Aventon is known for their attention to the welds on their bikes and its well deserved. This folding bike is solid when you’re riding, you’d never know it had the ability to fold. I did have a minor warranty issue with one of the bikes and Aventon handled quickly without any issues.

I am a long time cyclist; racing touring and all disciplines from road to gravel and everything in between. So when I say this is a fantastic bike, I am not exaggerating. I needed something I could easily take on the train, but also ride up to my field on my farm. The 4 inch tires and low gearing allows me to ride in the woods as well. The folks at Aventon were great. I had the bike in 3 days from ordering. 10 minutes to take it out of the box and go for a ride!

First off, I am 74 years old. The reason I am telling you this is because younger persons will not need to consider some of the things I’m going to type. It is heavy lifting onto a bike rack but if I can do it, you should be able to do it. I think the next time I lift it on or off the rack I will remove the battery as to shed some weight. The adventure itself was a blast. Love the big tires, neighbor calls them Gangster. Smooths out the ride quite a bit. I stiffened the front suspension quite a bit for better control at higher speeds. Electric power is great for a person of my age and there is enough to climb high grades. I used all sorts of configurations of power assist and gearing. Assist 3 and midrange on my shifter was average. I rode sidewalks like when I was a kid and rode through the grass on a soccer field, climbed a large berm, and enjoyed a gravel road. all in 6.9 miles. Loved every minute of it. As I get into better shape, I will extend my rides and become even more adventurous. Fit and finish is what I expected.

When I first found out about electric bikes I began to do my research on the multiple different companies out there. With Aventon being a 10 year old company made in America, with distributors/ verified mechanics all across the US (including Mississippi thankfully for me!!) it seemed like a no brainer. The community of Aventon riders, design and craft of the bike, and the attention to detail is what will make me a customer for life! I get SO many compliments on it and with the fat tires I can truly go anywhere I want! The only thing that would make it better is if it could be just a few pounds lighter, and if the app connected with my original account (I don’t get how you can use your mileage rewards if it doesn’t transfer from the bike/app). Overall, I would highly recommend this bike if an electric bike would work for you Flashe!!!

Really well designed! We got a red and green. The area in Michigan that we use them is very hilly and they have no problem. Only thing I might consider other than the $200 in accessories that came with (lights, racks etc.) is a seat upgrade. My wife and I are both fatigued in that area after about 10 miles.

So far so good. Took it on some trails and it did great was fun. Was a little slick but I was able to keep control. The tires dug in and got me thru it. Bike seems well put together. Was able to fold it and stow it in my camper along side my bed while traveling.

Perfect combination of power, range and portability. Cannot overstate the importance of the dead stop throttle – this is huge when trying to get any of these 70ish pound e-bikes moving up hill. This is included on the Sinch and is advertised on their page – I couldn’t find a foldable bike with similar advertised specs from other makers. The 750W motor can also get my 200lb butt up a fairly steep grade using throttle alone. This will obviously use more battery and decrease range, but it’s nice to know it can do it.

I have a bad back 3 surgeries so for me to be on a treadmill or in a gym its hard. Not only boring to be in a gym or treadmill but hard if my spasms kick in or my back pain or right leg gives out. The Sinch bike gave me life to be outdoors again to exercise and enjoy it.
