While the Aventure ships as a class II ebike, it can be configured into a class III with its high capacity battery and powerful rear hub motor. A pretty cool ride that does it all to be a great choice. I put 115 miles on it the first weekend, with mostly rail trails but also a good amount on the road and it was sweet. Have been riding it for 4 months now. It’s an absolute blast. Getting good mileage from each charge based on pedal assist settings and terrain. Put a suspension seat post on it from the get go and that seems to be a good decision. No regrets at all.

My wife and I bought 2 Adventure.2’s. One is a step through and one is not. The torque sensor gently applies help within optional e power levels and your choice of standard bike gearing. Power grows very evenly with your pedaling at all levels and you never get a “surprise” of power. This torque sensor was the core selling point for us. We typically switch between ECO and TOUR modes throughout a ride. There is also a manual throttle that applies power without pedaling which great for hills and getting home after a long ride. The 4 inch tires feel right at home and grippy on all types of trail surfaces. On the street, they ride fine and are stable but feel a little more than you need for the blacktop. My wife is 5’6” (step through) and I am 5’9” and we have the seats almost as far down as we can. I think the seat height could have been “ranged” better but it works for us. We bought the seat suspension post – highly recommended. It is adjustable for rider weight with a turn key at the bottom. We also extended the handle bars up a few inches with a simple off brand 31.8 extender. That extra height helped us sit straighter and get the weight off of our wrists. The bikes always get “nice bike” comments around the trails and I know why. They are rugged, look great, and ride like a dream. I recommend the AV2 highly. However, keep in mind these are big bikes and you may want to make minor adjustments for the seat and steering height. Happy Riding!

Purchased two Aventure.2 ebikes, and they are so amazing! My husband and I (we are both 50) can now explore all the backroads up at our cabin in northern Minnesota on our ebikes, rather than driving. Omgsh these bikes are amazing and so much fun! We can handle any terrain with the big fat tires, this is just like riding a regular bike, but now with so much ease! When we get tired of peddling, we just throttle here and there to take a break. Hope these last a long long time!

I was able to try both adventure and adventure.2 today in a shop. Walked in with my brother and 2 year old nephew just wasting time out with the little one. Was so impressed with the adventure i walked out with it. Then I rode on it to my brothers house then home to show his wife, because he now wants one. around 20 to 25 miles in all. The adventure one feels peppier. Its less safe kinda (if im really really nit picking) and has a shorter range but was a much more fun experience to ride for me. I was MUCH faster on the 1 than on the 2. I almost hit 40 going down a hill this evening, just .03 off. Thing screams. Also just a joy to cruse at 7mph though. Anyways, the thing is impressive. If you had a chance to ride it youd own one and wouldnt be reading a review. Either model was awesome to ride. I dont ride bikes but the thing instantly converted me. Absolute blast to ride. And at the 1500 sale price for the adventure it was so good that this person whos not a fan of bikes walked out a store with it after a test ride. Great product guys.

The first bike we bought was a level 2 commuter bike which i loved but then i saw a Aventure and that was that . Since then we bought two , one for my Grandson and myself . I recently had spinal surgery and can use all of the aerobic exercise i can get . My Grandson and I religiously put in 20 miles a day on our bikes here in the Phoenix area where we have hundreds of miles of trails of all sorts . They are so much fun and we can go pretty much anywhere !
Our Level 2 is now my wifes bike which is a fantastic ride on the more civilized paved trails .

It has been raining since I received my bike and haven’t ridden it yet. But it arrived in a box that was 2 boxes taped together that were all mangled. My first thought was not good. I opened the box and the bike frame was good with the foam on it. The pedals, hardware and charger were just strewn all over the bottom of the box unboxed. For 1500 dollars I expected more. My seat has scratches on it and some scratches on the frame.

For several months, I have been searching for a Ebike to accommodate my “line backer” build (6’5″ / 330lbs) The bike feels sturdy and doesn’t seem to struggle with my size/weight. Honestly, I feel like the eBike could run out from under me with the power it has on flat surfaces. It’s amazing, very comfortable and I have no issues with it. The Ebike shipped fast, it was packaged well and was very easy to put together. My very first time out, I had a couple people compliment the look of my bike. I live in Tampa, FL which is becoming more and more bike friendly. I ride my bike everywhere because it’s usually faster and much easier than parking my truck downtown. Drives great, gearing is just fine, and it looks nice. I mostly use the lowest pedal assist to counteract the weight of the bike and to provide a more enjoyable ride on hills while at the same time using the 8 gears for a maximum workout and enjoyment. Using the lowest pedal assist does give me an almost perfect 40 mile range while riding in a mostly hilly area. It’s not the lightest bike so if you are planning on putting it on a bike rack just be aware it will require some lifting even after taking the battery out. All in all I give this 5 stars.
