I ride this bike around on trails during most of my lunch breaks as well as going to the grocery store and restaurants.

Especially love the start assist, that is my most difficult issue riding a bike, getting the starting momentum , this bike does that for you. Love love love it.

My husband and I have had our Sinch e-bikes for about 2 weeks. They are so enjoyable to ride. We live in a townhouse so we don’t have a lot of storage space. That’s why we chose the foldable bikes. We are going camping next month. We can wait to ride our bikes there. We look forward to years of riding.

The Sinch is awesome for light trails. I share the concern of many people that the pedal assist takes way too long to kick in. If you’re on an easy trail with a bit of a hill, you need the motor to kick in, and you’re stuck almost stalled, waiting for the pedal assist to kick in. Many other brands allow you to tweak the controller settings to get faster speed, but the Sinch is very restricted in adjustments. Aventon really isn’t shining well with the Sinch. I love the folding capacity. I love the open space with the step-through, and the range is really good. It’s a great bike for easy transport in the back of a car trunk or van, and great for around town, but a disaster on trails. The tires are way too smooth for trails. It’s a shame because it has trail features, great brakes, and brilliant front shocks, but a terrible pedal assist. I recommend Aventon to offer an upgraded controller or allow computer resetting of speed, as well as assist sensitivity. Tom Boulder CO

Don’t hesitate to buy Aventon BIKES, they are a solid choice. By the way, I suggested they provide a Soltera single speed with torque sensing for an inexpensive, low maintenance, cruiser. Maybe they will bite. Their torque sensing bikes are going to be best for their future and ours! Flashe is the place

This is going to be a fun bike for the summer. My only concern is its weight.

I received my Sinch about 30 days ago and absolutely love it. I did upgrade my seat though because I’m 225lbs and needed something a little wider and softer. Just got back from Port Aransas, Texas and was super impressed how well the Sinch performed on the beach! I had allot people stop and ask about it. I was happy to tell them about it.

I’m 6-3 230 lbs and the Sinch fits me just fine. I will be getting a different seat as the stock seat is kinda firm, other than that the bike is great.

Super versatile – tested on road and off road on maintained trails. Electric assistance works great. Only areas for improvement I’d want would be if it were a little lighter (it’s pretty heavy at nearly 70 lbs) and an ability to increase the top speed to 28 mph (it maxes as 20 mph).

I have a hemiway which is great but can be a little more aggressive, l am 5”8’ and can be hard to get on and off. The Sinch is far more comfortable for me.

I took delivery of my Sinch today, and I am thoroughly impressed. The build quality is top notch and the welding is absolutely premium. I am 6’1, 200lbs and it fits me great with plenty of room. I first took it to a trail by me and wow, it is just incredible. The fat tire/front suspension combination really allow you to glide across trail terrain, and the motor provides you with more than enough power to get up hills and stay going. The paint finish is matte, so be warned that you will encounter scratches, but what is life without battle scars. The bike is definitely heavy, however I actually enjoy this as it feels like a stronger workout, but for the smaller rider it may be a nuisance. This bike is perfect for the taller riders who want an ebike capable of handling trails.

I love my Sinch Step-Through Foldable bike. It is aptly named. It’s a Sinch to unfold. The only downside is the weight. It takes 2 of us to lift it in and out of the car. All in all, I love it and highly recommend Aventon bikes.

My husband and I purchased the Aventon Sinch foldable. And we loved it. I starting having a hard time putting my leg over so I purchased the step through. (Wouldn’t even consider another manufacturer). And success I absolutely love it. I ride every day about 5 to 7 miles peddling all the time. With my health issues it feels so good to be able to use my legs and get exercise without my legs hurting. If you have fibro or bad back highly recommended.

Hadn’t rode my mt bike for a few years. Not as steady as I used to be and some arthritis issues in my knees that made it difficult to swing my leg up and over the frame. Weather finally got nice enough to take the Sinch out for a decent ride. The step through is great. Takes a bit of getting used to how the gears and pedal assist work together. Also adjusted my seat low enough that I can get seated while my feet are still on the ground. That makes it easy for starting with the throttle. The pedal assist makes the shorter hip to pedal length comfortable. Just takes a bit of getting used to for anyone used to standard bicycle configuration. Bought the sun tour hydraulic seat post and cloud nine seat which seems to absorb shocks really nicely. The bike itself seems very well made and very sturdy. Pedals are a bit small for my old wide feet so replaced those with the widest ones I could find. Would have been nice if the throttle was a variable speed depending on how far you push it down as opposed to using just gears and pedal assist to control cruising speed. All in all a very nice machine that like anything new will take a bit of getting used to. It’s nice to ride again.

I really enjoy the folding/ step through Sinch. We do plan to take this bike with us when we get to traveling on the road. My other ebike is way to heavy and to large.
I am okay with the thumb throttle, that is not an issue. The pedal assist levels are fine, as well. My big issue is you need to turn, or rotate the pedals, 2 to 3 cranks, before the assist kicks in. When it kicks in you notice it. The bike that this, Sinch is replacing has a pedal and torque sensor, which I like a lot better. It seem Aventon, might have addressed this issue with the Sinch 2.0. A torque sensor is no part of the bike. Does it resolve the 2-3 crank issue, remains to be seen.
My wife and I love the matte green color and wrote to Aventon, that they should offer a few more colors. We liked to red, but the green is where it is at. The Sinch 2.0 comes in some new matte colors, silver and blue. We are very much considering buying a blue colored bike.
I do find the steering a bit twitchy, when turning corners. You start to turn in and the the should of the 4″ tire seems to come into play, and the turning becomes more pronounced. I will get use to it in time, but it will take time. I suspect this might have to do with the rake of the front forks. This is a well made folding bike, so there are a few limitations. It is a nice bike, and this comments, of mine, are really minor. I will get use to riding the bike, once I sell my older ebike.
Lastly, if the could design the handle bars to have a bend so the grips are closer to the rider, that would be handy. They are straight across, currently. As I mentioned we are thinking of getting a second version, the 2.0, ; so we do like the bike.

I got a sinch st and have been loving it! It’s very fun to ride and the design of it makes it the perfect bike for when I take my Aussie out on a bike ride to have him run and tire out. It feels very stable and it goes together well! It is my first electric bike and I’m loving it!
