Just received my bike this week. First impressions: gorgeous build quality and design. Super easy to set up. My unit does have a small scratch on the paint. Need to see if I can get some matching touch up paint. Went on a quick 8 mile bike ride. Wife rode the Abound while I rode my old bike. She was smiles the entire time. Our local park has a decent hill. She flew right by me heading up! Lots of power in this bike. Thumb throttle gave her confidence when transitioning into traffic on roundabouts or crossing a street. And TURN SIGNALS!!!! Turn signals should be mandatory. I’m excited that I purchased this for my main ebike. Only complaint is that I’m going to have to fight off my family members who want to ride it all the time.

I will preface this by saying I am a heavy heavy rider. I got this bike because of the higher weight load as I am using this to reduce my car commuting (and obviously trying to lose the weight by being more active). I am super happy with this bike! Solid build, tons of great features, LOVE the frame bag being included. The only thing I didn’t like is the seat and seat post. The air pressure seat post just fails on me and will sink down constantly. I am pretty confident this is due to my weight so I doubt normal weight individuals will have the issue with the post. The seat itself is quite uncomfortable as well, though I really like the handle. I think it’s just too narrow for someone with a larger booty. I did have an issue with the seat coming loose from using the handle to lift the bike for things. That said, the motor has no issue getting me up and going. The battery life for me personally isn’t amazing, I usually drop around 15-20 percent in my 3 mile commute on eco. Again, I assume this is my weight being a factor. Overall, the pros of this bike really outweigh the little cons. I just switched out the saddle and post and now have no issues at all. If you’re reading this on fence about getting an e-bike, especially this one. Do it do it do it! My life is completely changed for the better! I started with the Pace 500, loved it too. But this bike checks every single box I had for a dream e-bike. And the price vs quality can’t be beat. Wish I could give this a 4.5 stars instead of 4 but I feel like the seat post thing is important to share since I feel like there will be a lot of people like me who are attracted to the weight capacity of this bike.

I was looking for an e-bike with a high weight limit and options for my kiddos to ride with me. This one fit the bill and has been everything I could’ve imagined! Easy to install — I definitely recommend watching the video linked on the box. It’s my first e-bike so I love the options for the throttle depending on how much support I need on hills. I can get a workout in if I want to, or I can go easier to avoid getting sweaty while running errands.
One thing that was disappointing is the zipper on the bag under the seat broke after only a few days. Kinda cheap! Everything else has been great though.

I’ve been using my Aventon Abound bike for about a week. It. Is. Amazing! The pedal assist makes even the toughest hills doable! The throttle rescues me when I need to zip through a busy intersection or just want to relax and feel the wind. We outfitted the Abound with the seat and handrails. It’s perfect for picking my granddaughter up from daycare/school. She loves the open air and view. The seat and handrails pull double-duty; very convenient to place crates or grocery bags. I’ve saved $40 this week in fuel by biking to the store/pharmacy/park rather than using the car. Exercise, sunshine, saving$, and green. What’s not to love?

I recently purchased the Aventon cargo bike, and I am beyond satisfied with my purchase. The bike itself is incredibly sturdy and well-built, making it perfect for all of my outdoor adventures. It has a comfortable seat and grips that make riding for extended periods of time comfortability no matter the trail.
The bike’s suspension system is top-notch. The gears are easy to adjust on-the-go, giving me the ability to quickly adapt to changes in incline and terrain.
I also really appreciate the sharp and reliable braking system, which helps me confidently stop at high speeds. I’ve also ridden on the bike in various weather conditions, and it maintains its peak performance no matter the climate.

I am 63 years old, overweight, and wanted to up my activity level. After much research, I decided an e-Bike might be the right choice for me, because it could keep the pedaling fun even up hills. I decide how much effort it take snow, not the trail. Easier on joints than running, and the Abound gives me the ability to pick up some groceries, or anything else I need and leave the car at home. I might even see about doing some bike camping. I am Very Pleased with my purchase.

Long time rider and bike mechanic in previous life; bought the Abound to replace our shorter commuting and shopping trips, and to (hopefully) carry a 50lb dog to better but farther parks.
Looked at all the available alternative bikes and the choice was clear for both features and value. Well.
Bike in-hand now it’s clear we will do all the things we imagined AND just plain ride more.
Ride even when it’s a bit hot because even just eco-mode reduces sweat-inducing effort.
Ride further than “short trips” because with this bike the trip is _fun_.
Ride just for fun, like I just did; a quick trip around the block which is that much more –needed– exercise.
Now just need to convince the dog.

This is a fantastic bike! It is easy to learn to navigate and so fun to ride! I ordered one for myself and one for my husband-and we are having a blast with them. Unfortunately mine came with a couple of paint chips-which is disappointing considering the cost. Thankfully it doesn’t affect the performance of the bike, but it is a bummer.

I was hesitant at first. I haven’t rode a bike since being a kid. I live in the center of my city so biking would be great if I had some storage and let me tell you can this bad boy not only store what you need but the ride isn’t really hindered. Not to mention I never thought it’d turn so many head’s. I’ve had numerous encounters about my neat or flashy looking ebike. I loved it so much I bought the aventon aventure 2 aswell. My only thoughts are, extra battery storage would be awesome and why not front turn signals for oncoming traffic at night or during civil twilight hours aswell? The back is awesome but I noticed oncoming traffic has no idea if your turning left or right and at night can’t see you hand signal. I added after market signals but hate that I have to use 2 controllers to signal one direction. Thanks for an amazing product!

Absolutely love this bike! My 7 year old fits amazing on the back and feels super safe and secure! Able to get off the path and explore without worrying about little legs having a hard time keeping up! The torque sensor is super responsive and gives the perfect amount of assistance!
