A sleek, seven-speed electric bike that is nimble and powerful enough to weave through the jungles of the city yet lightweight enough to carry up a flight of stairs after a day’s work.
The elegant and minimalist design is reminiscent of Aventon’s performance cycling roots, but with an electric charge. The performance-inspired geometric frame allows for a more aggressive riding style with room to still enjoy a relaxing ride.
Maneuver your way through the city with the help of the stealthy yet powerful motor, equipped with both a throttle and pedal assist. Or if you’re looking for a bit of a challenge, ride the Soltera using your own force and will. The choice is yours.

Great price with free basket. Easy assembly. Battery was fully discharged on arrival but eventually proved to hold a full charge and has been fine since. Great sales and tech support so far. Love the bike. Rear built in lights are nice to have. Mechanical disk brakes are adequate but hydraulic would be better. Battery removal is tight and easy to scratch bike if not real careful. Took it up steep up and down grades and handles and climbs nicely. I weight 190. Level 1 and 2 are great for getting a workout by peddling. 3 thru 5 lets the bike do the work. nice display. I have the basket and rear rack which are easy to install and useful. I was able to use the $25 coupon they gave me toward the rack. I also have a velotric fat tire bike. Chose this Soltera over the Velotric thunder. Nice colors.

Wow, what a great bike. This bike rides easier than my mountain bike that I’ve been riding for years and that’s without using power assist. This is my first ebike so I was afraid that I would get little exercise but the truth is, I get as much or as little as I want. This was a great choice as I am getting a little older so on longer rides, it’s nice to have a little help to get back home. It’s so much fun that my wife is considering getting one as well. No issues so far so highly recommended. Have fun. You won’t regret it.

Great bike, and great customer service. The bike arrived quickly, was super easy to assemble, but the battery was not functioning. Customer service was easy to work with and I had a new, working battery in about 5 days. I’m 6’1 and my husband is 6’3, the large is a perfect, comfortable size for both of us.

We bought the Aventon E-bikes last month and we could not be happier. We got my husband the Pace 500.3 and I got the Soltera. I love my Soltera for it’s relatively light weight and maneuverability. It has plenty of power and power assist when pedaling. I can also easily pedal and ride without any assist at all. The battery seems to have a long life also, although I have not tried to run it down all the way yet. The ride is a little rough, but it’s still a great bike for the price!

My wife bought a Euphree a few months ago, and I tried it, but it feels like you are riding a big wide tired, heavy Harley. I wanted a nimble bike that feels like my Trek hybrid bike that I put 25-40 miles on, at a time. Hence, this purchase. Not only did I purchase this Soltera 7 with the free front basket from the AVENTON site, but I also purchased online from AVENTON and from various other sites, the rear rack, mirrors for each side, a fork riser, the Tannus Armor tire inserts, new smaller tubes to fit them, a set of Aventon fenders, a phone mount and an adjustable stem for the handlebars. The bike looks absolutely beautiful(!)and I can ride it like my Trek. It’s light, it’s nimble it’s quick, it’s easy to steer and it doesn’t feel like I’m riding a Harley. It’s exactly what I wanted. Except for when the wind is blowing like crazy, and I’d like to kick it into 1st or 2nd……..and I can’t. Because I don’t have a working battery.
The battery arrived dead as a doornail. I tried what support said to do and charged it for a full 48 hours and it’s still dead. The next day they did issue a hazmat box recall and a new battery, but it’s been a week and the new battery has still not shipped. It’s awfully nice that customer support and technical support have improved so much during the past year, but if their orders aren’t fulfilled for a week or more, what’s the point? Keeping customers waiting for the battery for their bike, which is the heartbeat of an electric bike, is NOT good. It’s the one component of an electric bike that should be on a 24 hour REPLACEMENT shipment schedule. I’ll wait and see how much longer it takes and file another review when it finally happens.

I was looking for an e-bike for my wife for a long time. Nothing that was in my price point was nearly as nice as the Aventon Soltera step-through. Other e-bikes looked like the battery was an afterthought, but not this one. Love how it looks like a normal bike with integrated battery. Have shown this to several friends and wouldn’t doubt that they will soon be owners of the same for their wives. Needless to say, I already have my eyes on the step over version! My wife loves this bike, which makes me very happy!

I posted my first review upon receipt of my new Aventon Soltera a few weeks ago (DOA battery). Bike arrived within a week of ordering, it looked gorgeous, easily assembled straight
out of the box, but– had a DOA battery, that was 2 years old.
Customer Service (Alex A.) was very helpful, and approved a new battery and hazmat box for the old battery within 48hrs of my call.
But, It took more than 10 days for the battery to ship.
When it finally arrived, new battery was fully charged (blue light!) and the bike finally works. I took it on a short 3.5 mile spin last night, and so far, so good, barely used 1% of the battery.
On level 1, I didn’t feel it made much of a difference, but on level 2, the bike significantly pushed me up the hill a lot faster than I had anticipated.
One has to get used to stopping safely at traffic lights. Attractive features include the on-handle adjust speed/level apparatus, very intuitive to use, and
the panel to show how far you’ve gone/pace; and just brilliant addition of built-in battery operated brake lights on the side rims.
This is an essential safety feature for city bike commuters where car drivers don’t pay attention. Have to worry less about a car not being aware of me braking.
Excellent bike, looks good, rides great, a bit heavy, but can’t wait to take it on a proper long haul ride soon.
Special thanks to Merlin at Aventon Customer Service.
Having read all the complaints about DOA batteries since April 2023, one wonders if there is something wrong with the factory which assembles the bikes?
A thorough QC, esp on the “e” part of the ebike is essential before shipping.
Aventon needs to pay attention to this problem if it doesn’t want to lose customer support.
Best,
YD

Rides great – even with no assist – but with it up hills no effort. Can still get a good workout with or just cruise with pedal assist or throttle. I’ve put 185 miles on it – my wife loves hers also. Batteries last good (10 miles at 3 assist costs about 5%) and they recharge pretty quick. Real happy so far – except I didn’t notice second battery discount until after I bought them.

I just got my new Soltera last week and don’t have lot of miles on it but so far everything is great. It has all the power I need- and then some. I’m an older person who wanted this for rides around the neighborhood and over to the state beach and it’s working very well for my needs. Not to mention the fact that it’s really FUN!!

This bike is well built! I love how they have drilled and tapped all holes for future add -on’s. I love everything about this bike!!

I haven’t ridden a bike for a few years because of hills. Feels great to be back in the saddle. I can go anywhere. It is a bit of a learning curve but I am getting the hang of how to use the assist.

Great Bike Just finished our first ride approximate 20 miles still had 90% of the battery left. The wife really enjoyed it and she has woo hoo !!!!!

I purchased this bike as a gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it! She’s now able to go on those longer rides with me.
